Slack Integration Expands Reach
The Deloitte announcement follows Anthropic’s recent launch of a Slack integration that allows users to access Claude directly from their Slack workspaces.
This integration enables employees to engage with Claude through direct messages, an AI assistant panel, or by mentioning the assistant in threaded conversations.
Additionally, users can connect Slack to Claude’s applications, allowing the AI to search for and reference relevant Slack messages when providing answers.
The integration maintains existing Slack permissions, ensuring that Claude only accesses channels and conversations that users are authorized to view.
“Every company is on a path to becoming an agentic enterprise, where AI agents collaborate closely with humans,” states Rob Seaman, Chief Product Officer of Slack at Salesforce.
