In contrast, 63% find themselves in what Accenture refers to as the ‘Exposed Zone’, indicating they lack both a unified cybersecurity strategy and the necessary technical foundations to withstand contemporary threats.
“Increasing geopolitical tensions, economic instability, and more complex operational environments, combined with AI-enhanced attacks, are making organizations increasingly susceptible to cyber risks,” states Paolo Dal Cin, Global Lead at Accenture Security and one of the report’s three authors.
