This stack enables telecom providers to incorporate AI into mobile networks, beginning with 5G services. The technology integrates Cisco’s user plane function and 5G core software with the Nvidia AI Aerial platform.
“Cisco’s N9100 series, powered by Nvidia Spectrum-X Ethernet switch silicon, offers a high-performance, open infrastructure solution to meet our AI cloud needs,” states Yih Leong Sun, Head of Infra at GMI Cloud. “The ability to run NX-OS or SONiC under a unified operating model on Nexus Dashboard provides our customers with greater flexibility and operational simplicity.”
